Anti-Human/Mouse Gata3 (TWAJ)-167Er—50 Tests

Gata-3 is a transcription factor that is vital for the development of T cells in the thymus, maturation of bone marrow NK cells and development of thymic NK cells. In addition, GATA-3 is considered to be an important master regulator for development of CD4+ Th2 cells. During Th2 activation GATA-3 induces the expression of IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13. GATA-3 is also important in nonhematopoietic tissue including the kidney, hair follicles, skin cells, and mammary gland. GATA-3-deficient mice die at around e11 of a secondary cardiac insufficiency.
