CD102, also known as intercellular adhesion molecule-2 (ICAM-2), is a 55 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein in the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD102 is constitutively expressed at high levels on vascular endothelial cells, some lymphocytes, monocytes, and platelets. CD102 is a ligand of leukocyte integrin CD11a/CD18 (LFA-1), and also binds to integrin CD11b/CD18 (Mac-1). It is involved in lymphocyte homing to sites of inflammation and in co-stimulation of immune response.
