CD64, also known as FcγRI, is an integral membrane glycoprotein. It binds to monomeric IgG-type antibodies with high affinity and plays a role in antigen capture, phagocytosis of IgG/antigen complexes, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. CD64 expression can be up-regulated by IFN-γ stimulation. It can be found on monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated granulocytes.
