CXCR5, also known as CD185 and Burkitt's lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), is a chemokine receptor that binds to CXCL13. CXCR5 plays an essential role in the migration of B cells to the follicular compartment in the spleen, lymph nodes, Peyer's patches, and tonsils. It also plays a role in normal maturation of primary follicle follicular dendritic cells. CXCR5 is expressed on B cells and TFH cells.
