Publications
The seminal publication describing Imaging Mass Cytometry™ was produced by the Bodenmiller lab and published in Nature Methods in 2014. In this publication of the first demonstration of a prototype imaging mass cytometer based on CyTOF®, Giesen et al. used a 32-marker panel in human breast cancer on an FFPE tissue microarray to show simultaneous analysis of stroma, tumor cells and infiltrating lymphocytes.
Subsequently, there have been additional publications for Imaging Mass Cytometry to advance translational research.
