Why is there a 10 Ct shift from tube-based qPCR to the Biomark system?

The difference in volume between a 10 μL reaction and the 96.96 Dynamic Array IFC with a 6 nL chamber is 210.7. For the 48.48 Dynamic Array IFC this difference is 210. This predicts that a single copy will occur at approximately 10.7 to 10 cycles lower for the IFCs than when using standard microcentrifuge tubes with 10 μL reactions.
