FAQs

How many antibodies can I have in a panel before they begin to interfere with one another?

Antibody panels using up to 44 different isotopes at a time have been published by CyTOF® mass cytometer users.

The only limits to panel size are the availability of metal tags and the number of masses detectable (up to 135 on the Helios™ mass cytometer).

On rare occasions, steric hindrance may occur if two epitopes are located very close together, but this is not related to the total number of antibodies in the panel.
